Vote of No Confidence in Mayor Lobese

Dear Councillors,
In light of revelations and evidence contained in MEC Bredell's report, it is now impossible for any thinking person to have confidence in the leadership, abilities and suitability of Peter Lobese to hold the position of executive mayor.
Under these circumstances, and we think we speak for the vast majority of the residents of Plettenberg Bay, it is incumbent upon you as an elected representative of the community to ensure that the situation is remedied as a matter of extreme urgency.
We therefore request you and your colleagues to immediately move a "motion of no confidence" in the mayor in compliance with the Municipal Structures Act, section 58.
